Anyone here use one of the Walther pistols, like the PPK, PPK/S, or PPS? I used to have a stainless PPK/S but it was a bit snappy and used to bite the skin between my thumb and index finger. I think they elongated the beaver tail and have made some changes recently to make it more reliable.

I used to also use a Walther P99 (1st generation, 9mm), but it’s a little big for concealed carry. It was great to shoot though.

My current is a H&K P7M8 which works wonderfully, except it’s quite heavy.

PPS 9MM. Love it, but I love anything Walther. I like the changeable grips on my PPS.

Used it for my CHL test. Outshot the guys in my class in speed and accuracy. They had Glocks & Rugers.

The Berea Thunder 380acp redesign fixed all of the Walther's "issues": Nice easy trigger pull, making it a highly accurate weapon that even my wife can easily shoot very tight groups with.

The tang or beaver's tail has been extended so that it is nearly impossible for the web of your firing hand to get in the way of the slide when it retracts upon firing. No more nasty Walther slide bites.

Berea has even built a locking mechanism with a key right into the weapon itself rendering the weapon impossible to shoot when locked. Great feature when children are visiting.

If you read, or watch the YouTube online reviews you will find that many current and former Walther owners prefer the Berea Thunder 380 over the Walther for these very reasons and more.

One more thing, the Bersa costs about half or more than the Walther.
