They continued on their mission of using the Nazi money for whiskey, clothes and women, not necessarily in that order. Apparently they wanted to give themselves up, but Hoover needed some attention, AGAIN. I wonder if they would have been treated differently if they were sent as NKVD spies and saboteurs?
