It was so obvious that even CNN couldn’t deny it.

“I don’t worry about AG Sessions being anywhere but on the side of the Constitution and the law. But I do worry about how many of “our” elected Republicans who are actually part of the Deep State Conspiracy.”

I think you are right about Sessions - he is pro Trump and pro constitution.

However, I am convinced that those of us expecting Obama administration and other democrats to face jail time will be dissapointed. Trump has decided not to go that route for the good of the Republic. Instead, Flynn, Manafort and others will receive full pardons. Justice will instead take the form of permanent damage to the Democrat brand, and a Trump led era of accountability and transparency in government that leaves Democrats out in the cold.

The good news I take out of these hearings is that every single Democrat lied and obsfuscated while every single Republican comported himself well. Trump is leading by example and the Republicans are heeling. I watched all these hearings from beginning to end and I was actually proud to be a Republican! The Republicans hung tough and sought the truth to a man - and that bodes VERY well for the Trump Train.

I think the ultimate judge of character and bringer of Justice has to be we the people, NOT some sort of Sessions led purge or Saturday night massacre and CERTAINLY not some Trump administration-led mass prosecution of criminal Obama officials.

It’s the people who need to drain the swamp and it has to be through voting, and through the legislature. The people have to come to see the Democrats for what they are and replace them with non corrupted legislature. Trump understands this and that’s why he’s avoided the Saturday Night Massacre and McCarthy style purge from the beginning.

I think Trump is the one leading a silent coup and its working. It just won’t be as much sport as we were hoping.

I agree with your take on things. President Trump and AG Sessions are realistic enough to know that they were handed an out-of-control situation. We’re a nation and civilization half way down that slippery slope, close to the tipping point of no return. Peter Strzok helped our cause yesterday. He’s creepy and deranged, and proud of it and of whatever he has planned out.

The key is managing our expectations. My question to my fellow Trump supporters is if you had to choose between putting HRC and other Obama criminals in jail OR Trump succeeding in his MAGA agenda, which would you choose?

I think that was always the choice. If he had prioritized criminal prosecutions of past administration officials - he would have had to “weaponize” his DOJ and FBI in order to do it, (just like Obama did) and in so doing he would have given up the moral high ground. The moral high ground is respecting the constitution - the co-equal branches, the limitations on government authority and intrusiveness - Obama and his minions abused executive authority and broke the trust of the people.

Trump had a choice - A) expose the corruption but let the people hand down the verdict via the voting booth or B) use his executive powers including the DOJ, FBI, CIA, NSA, IRS and State Department - in ways never intended by the founders - to criminally prosecute a Democrat administration for crimes against the state.

If he had chosen B, he would literally have gone to the dark side and become his enemy in order to destroy it.

He would have lost the support of the American people who just want to live their lives. They don’t care about political retribution - they just want true government reform.

It’s hard to let the Democrats skate, knowing what they tried to do to us - but what if Trump can destroy them politically - sort of like banishment?

I think that’s what he’s doing - he’s making them look like a bunch of jack asses - the voting public is seeing it - and that’s good enough for me.

If Trump sticks to his MAGA agenda and continues to resist the temptation to use his executive powers to pound his political enemies into the sand, he has a chance of going down as one of the greats - a true leader who returned power to the people - AKA Ronaldus Maximus.

I understand that President Trump should not let his administration be consumed by punishing the maniacs. But it would HELP to choose one or two as examples. Strzok is one sick puppy, coming across as being involved in a coup attempt. Charge him with sedition.

President Trump should do everything he can get done before October 1. Those 'pubs who are actually Deep State operatives aren't going to do things to save the November election. Anything to keep the voters, President Trump and his team are going to have to do on their own. And if the US Senate and/or HOR are lost, I fear President Trump will be in a situation where it's impossible to govern.

I don’t know about prison - but they should at the very least be fired. I can’t figure out why a guy like Strozk could still be drawing a paycheck. What a creep. And Rosenstien seems like a loser too.

But Trump must have some reason for not firing them.
