None of this was about Kavanaugh. This was 100% about ginning up the dem base for November. They may have miscalculated though and now the Republican base is cranked up as well.
What we should have done was leaked that if Kavanaugh is rejected we’re nominating Amy Barrett or Mike Lee. Then we basically dare the dems to reject the more moderate Kavanaugh.
Why do I feel this is like Comey laying out all the reasons to prosecute Clinton....and then yanking the rug out at the last second?
