I witnessed this type of projection back in college and it was quite a, I HATE this smarmy phrase, teachable moment for me. The slightest disagreement with them, and you are racist, sexist etc. Yet the worst bigots I had the DISpleasure of knowing are liberals. Instead of facing up to their own prejudices they need to project them on others. Guilt? Some holier than thou superiority complex? A need to ingratiate themselves with those they perceive to be oppressed in order to soothe their fragile egos? I’ve seen White student activists and other useful idiots pretending to be down for the struggle. But on a typical Saturday night of partying when the brewskys flowed and the doobies passed around that’s when those hypocrites let their, no pun intended TRUE COLORS show. In vino veritas. The guilty dog barks the loudest. Those who point their fingers are the ones with the filthy hands.
Right on! For every finger pointing there are three point back at the pointer. What I can’t stand is the line “white men are evil” spoken by white men. I just can’t see how they can hate themselves so much to utter such nonsense. It’s either that or they don’t believe it and they’re saying it to gain some advantage. Whatever way, it’s despicable.
