It is a great community. However, it is considered a breach of etiquette at best, and a mortal sin at worst, to post an excerpt from your own blog here.
If you sign up on Free Republic, you want to avoid just posting a piece of your blog. I think it is okay if you post the entire piece from your blog, just not an excerpt.
For good reason. They don’t want people coming on here trying to pump up hits on their blog. I understand that.
You are new, so you should expect some folks to come after you. Be contrite, say you didn’t know the rules...and don’t do it again. You will be welcome here if you do, and you are a conservative.

I understand completely.
Personally, I am a Conservative in the sense that I want the Constitution conserved, and the government is here only as protection and to offer basic services like infrastructure.
Now, I have some very liberal/democrat family members in my family that also very intellectual. You could imagine at family get togethers (We do these a lot) discussing politics (we also do this a lot) and trying to logically and rationally explain to someone who knows it all that my president isn’t racist.
After a few of these conversations I wondered how many others deal with this same scenario. That is how I arrived at writing this article.
My real intentions isn’t blog traffic, but instead to save people like me from their intellectual liberal uncles lol.
