Shes certainly not unattractive, but today you can go to any bar in America on Saturday and see ten equal to or better than her. Beauty standards have gone way, way up since the 50s.
I disagree. Attractiveness in a woman has as much to do with presentation, demeanor and deportment as it does fitting a certain shape.
You watch the women in movies from the 30s through 50s, even the crime drama shows of the 50s and 60s, and the women are MUCH more appealing ... how they dress, how they sound, how they move, how they treat men and other women. They are feminine, are happy for men to be men, and it shows.
