Over the course of three years, the President has deftly positioned himself as the innocent victim of a political witch hunt, while casting the Democrats as the nasty aggressors, consumed by hate and jealousy. He has defined his agenda as putting America First, while casting the Democrats as globalist sell-outs who put politics ahead of country.
I would like to see some Obama ex-officials go to prison - but clearly, President Trump feels this is not the right time for that - he seems to want to leverage his victim status, and expose the Democrats as the mean ones, by allowing himself to be attacked.
The minute the President goes on the attack and starts putting these crooks in jail (where they belong), you know the press will start comparing him to Joseph McCarthy, or worse.
Maybe he wants to get safely re-elected and win back the house, before he changes his game plan.
I think you’re right in the center of the bullseye. After he’s inaugerated next January, the perps in ALL this traitorous stuff will be arrested by Federal Marshalls, taken to Gitmo and tried by Military type Tribunals. Some will be executed. The majority will be imprisoned for a long time.

Frustrating as it is to all of us on the Right, Trump has to not only play the victim but legitimately BE the victim.
