One odd thing about Biden - and this goes back years before the onset of his current cognitive issues - that I've noticed is this:

When most people raise their voices due to confrontation or being challenged, they do so to affirm or defend their view, position or person. Even if they become flustered or angered as they raise their voice, there is a sincerity or passion that is consistent with their elevated tone, even if their eloquence or articulation declines.

When Biden is challenged or confronted, he will raise his voice, but there is a complete absence of sincerity. It's manufactured outrage, and completely plastic.

Many will use profanity in the same way as raising the tone. For me, profanity is always a marker of a flawed argument.
