I’d bet Africa isn’t doing as well as reported. One thing that skews the statistics is that the U.S. ‘official’ reporting is much more thorough than virtually everywhere. This is why the U.S. has a higher newborn death rate than many countries. If a newborn takes a single breath and dies, he/she is counted. In some countries if a kid dies a week or two after birth, it is not recorded.

I seriously doubt that any nation in Africa has medical record keeping on a par with ours. People die from so many things in Africa and nobody is going to investigate the cause of death.

You can bet your sweet bippy that if the Africans were given tens of thousands of dollars for each death that they reported as caused by or involved with COVID-19, their reported numbers would be huge!
