Here’s the thing. If you do not believe it, don’t dismiss it, consider it an unconfirmed data point.
Just about all the people on this thread are here for the sake of Curiosity. Nothing hangs on whether you or they believe this, you do not have to act on it. Compare that with:

Do you mean to tell me a squad of US Army Delta Force gets into a firefight with a bunch of CIA spooks and the spooks, by all appearances take out five of the Delta Force and all of this while conducting a raid on a CIA installation in Germany and no one, on either side of the Atlantic is talking about this?
