Thus the line I was taught to take my part... If I started trouble I knew I was in trouble when I got home. If trouble came my way I told the teacher or an adult about it to get it stopped going by the rules. If I got punched in the nose on the playground if no teacher was present I was expected to respond and thump the offending party upside the head sufficiently that they knew you hit me again they would be whipped and whipped hard. If I didn’t take my part I still got in trouble when I got home regardless if there were any consequences at school.
Here is where I think the highbrow GOPers don’t get it. They never want to get their hands dirty or I may get in trouble with the clique of cowards they run with. Their problem is they won’t fight for anything and I mean anything that I can tell, all their principles are negotiable as long as they can stay in the clique and their friends and parents are screaming take your part!!! And they will not do it the clique is too important and they are about to pay for that cowardice with their voters.
Without Trump has the GOP done anything to push back against the Democrats since 1995? They’ve ran Congress and done nothing except promise next time really! Before the Contract With America in the 1980’s with Reagan who did the actual push back then—Reagan. It’s not in the DNA of the Republicans at the state or federal level to ever push back. The Democrats know they will fold to a 10R/90D% compromise every time. Now the voters having seen a Republican named Trump who will punch back are not having anymore of the traditional cowardice. It may not be the political thing to do but the Republicans are probably going to lose both senate seats in GA based on the crowds response to their latest eunuchs reception at the Trump GA rally. They screwed the pooch with the usual soft whispers of tepid support for Trump and the crowd wasn’t having it. The GOP and their business as usual idiocy are about to get their asses handed to them in another dirty election and they will bleat there’s nothing we can do and be consigned as a viable party into oblivion by 2024.
I think Loeffler wins it based on how the split votes came out and the other repub votes will coalesce behind her. Purdue is screwed.
