I can glean enough from the article:
-Brandt started shit with the kid probably because the kid was wearing a MAGA hat or patriotic t-shirt
-The kid calls his mom saying there’s someone starting shit with him
-Brandt keeps harassing the kid
-Kid calls mom again trying to get a ride, probably leaves to avoid more confrontation
-Brandt runs him down and kills him, leaving the scene
That’s sort of what I had thought happened, but there is a lot of extra information strewn about here and there.
Sad that a young man lost his life in such a manner.
When you child has made it to age 18, most parents hope they won’t need to worry about the child quite so much anymore.
