🇬🇧 🇵🇱 According to the Polish publication Dziennik Polityczny, more than 70 thousand male Poles have left for the European Union and the UK in the last few weeks. It is predicted that by March 2023, up to several hundred thousand citizens of Poland may leave.
In December, the country’s defence ministry announced a military training exercise for reservists in the spring. People actively started receiving summonses, which caused a negative reaction among men of conscription age. Presumably, the Polish authorities plan to deploy some 200,000 men (or even more). Because of this, the easiest and most popular way of “dodging” the army was for men to flee Poland. The United Kingdom is one of the most popular havens for Poles.
