That is strange, mine apparently are not that powerful. Are your controlled by an app on your phone like mine. I try and turn mine up to full and still don’t get that much amplification. Most of my hearing loss is in high ranges from my days in sheet metal and flightline work as well as years of shooting

Yesterday, as I walked out to my car, heard this man yelling and cursing...followed by little children yelling/screaming

The man was 400 feet away screaming at the sky...kids were simply having fun less than 100 feet from me.

It sounded like he was killing them...not cool at all.

And yes, they are controlled by app (Thrive)

My experience is similar to yours. I bought a pair of Lexie hearing aids, the B1 model. They DO help, but I still miss out on so much when I go to meetings.
Some people talk low and soft, and what I hear most of the time is just below the threshold of me understanding.
