Advocacy journalism dominates the public arena. It’s hard work to think for one’s self. It’s easier to let state propagandists and a complicit media do the thinking for you. It also promotes compliance without thought.

The MSM gets their news from Hamas, who do nothing but murder Jews and lie about the reasons for it. The average Palestinian supports them completely.

Sherman’s comment is apt too.

War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen, and I say let us give them all they want.

“Commentary on the war between Gaza and Israel has descended to a level of epic cluelessness.”

On the contrary, these propagandists know exactly what they’re doing.

Painting them the poor, innocent, suffering victims is the shortest way to the moral high ground, engendering waves of sympathy and activism in their support.

Victimhood is by far the most effective weapon used nowdays to get your way. You see it used everywhere.

A relative attended a business meeting in Japan some years ago; they took a side trip to the peace memorial in Nagasaki. When the trip leader got into melodramatic accusations of “crimes against humanity” our uncle spoke up in much the same way.

He got applause, they went back to the meetings.

Hamas reminds me of a Yellowstone visitor who walks up behind a buffalo and smack’s it on the butt while taking a selfie.

Lying there after being stomped nearly to death he complains about how unfair it is and wants the buffalo heard killed to avenge him.
