but Pelosi and Schumer, the ones charged with security at the Capitol have immunity. This just shows how screwed up DC is. Let’s see how the Supremes rule on this one.

As of January 6, Schumer was still the Minority Leader and he wasn’t in charge of anything. Pelosi’s counterpart in the Senate was still Mitch McConnell.
Later that month, the two Dems who won the Georgia runoffs were sworn in. Only then did Schumer become Majority Leader.
Pelosi and McConnell should BOTH be asked about what powers they had concerning Capitol security.
