Might help with what you can see. But what you can’t see is what will make ammo useless.
Yep, I believe people who kill the unborn, and chop up kids to change them, have no limits to work evil. The following is an example of tools they will likely use, and the far more potent chemicals likely won’t be weed killers...

If the Red Chi Coms don’t nuke us now, they’ve missed a big opportunity. Biden would surrender in a second.
“[Trump] could even win and sweep out his enemies from DC, or his second presidency could be another ineffectual tangle.”
Another ineffectual tangle???
Screw him and the horse he road in on.
Constant Media and Political scare tactics have a programming effect over time. The big problem these days is separating the BS from the truth.
I’ve had that feeling for a long time now. Almost every morning I wake up anxious, like something bad is about to happen, but I chalk that up to knowledge of Bible prophecy, end times events, and Jesus’s warning in the Book of Matthew.
Dear people who keep bring up Biblical references.
We got it. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I trust in the Lord.
The thing is...He doesn’t tell you when, or what, or how, except in rather vague open-to-interpretation terms.
This does not allay the feeling of foreboding. If anything, the books of Daniel and Revelation are not particularly comforting. I mean, yeah, the story has a good ending, but there is a lot of nasty crap that happens BEFORE the end.
Jesus."
Yes. But also, turn off the TV news.
I think it was PBS that ran a series on WWI. The first episode laid the sense of foreboding on really thick. I had always though pre-war was a fairly optimistic time, but I had never really studied period documents.
I don’t know if PBS cherry picked a lot of depressed artists and poets, but I’m really feeling it in the current situation. I guess we get the distinction of living in interesting times.
You have to do what feels right. I’m 61% in T-Bills in my “stock account” but at my age not losing is more important than taking chances to chase gains. I did see an interesting stat this morning. This latest run by the market feels overdone, but over the last 27 months the S+P500 is only up 9%. Most companies are hitting or beating their earnings targets despite the high interest rates.
My largest investment space after T-Bills is Energy.
Great events have a habit forecasting it’s shadow, some humans are more sensitive than others and will pick up on such things while others don’t. The way things are going I would be pleasantly surprise if nothing is going to happen. But it seems like the world is run by a bunch of ignorant dumb kids instead of adults, so whatever may come our way wouldn’t surprise me.
Seems like all the chess pieces are in place.
Not sure how all this is going to play out...but better money than having a bunch of paper money in a bank.
slow and steady wins the race
I would also point out that it seems to me that many Jews in Europe and elsewhere were pretty observant up to the 1940s. Then the holocaust came and 6 million died. And (to many) it seemed like God did nothing to rescue his chosen people. I feel that after the 1940s a great many Jews saw themselves as an ethnic group, with a family history of eating certain foods (matzoh balls, etc.) and perhaps a dialect of some yiddish. But religiously? I think a great many Jews stopped having anything to do with Judaism. Because they expected God to do something. And it seemed like He didn't. So, for many Jews, their new religion became just communism.
So now a lot of Americans feel like something is going to happen. Things are bad. Maybe this would be a good time for Christ to come again, right? And if He doesn't? And the bad times continue? How many will find that their faith has been damaged?
I don't know the hour. I'm not counting on anything. I try to be right with the Lord and we'll just see how it goes.
O & G..and Metals
Salt, too.
Salt is critical for survival and not easily gotten in many parts of the country.
If some major event happens and the supply chain is disrupted, salt will become hard to come by.
Now is the time to buy it.
I really realized that after reading Alas, Babylon, and One Second After.
Just in case this thread needs a theme song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bipwRzgfE-4
(’The Crazy World of Arthur Brown’ would have provide my back-up)
“So, for many Jews, their new religion became just communism.”
They joined the communists to overthrow the evils Tsars.
Not many if any.
While Jesus gave us LOTS of indicators to watch for that His coming is near, He never did tell us how bad things would get before that happens.
I don't see the bad times not continuing. For that matter, the reason I think that things will get a lot worse is that when the antichrist comes people will be saying *peace and security*.
He can't sell that if things are already good.
++ . Good answer, bigbob!
If you feel unreasoning dread that something bad is coming, keep it to yourself. Don’t spread panic, people.
OP: IMO it sounds like middle-aged burnout. There was a fire chief who never took time off and loved his job. Finally after reaching around 50 he took a week or so off, the most vacation he had taken. When he was supposed to go back to work suddenly he started having panic attacks and had to retire. Diagnosed with PTSD.
People, if you have truly unexplained fear and dread, it is probably coming from inside YOU. So keep your mouth shut and don’t poison the team with it.
If you have ever raised and herded sheep you will have seen how if one gets spooked, by a bush or stick say, all the rest act crazy about the same place, running and jumping away from it if you try to drive them by. The Greeks taught their kids there was god of shepherds and flocks, who could cause unreasoning fear. His name was Pan, and panic is named for the unreasoning fear he inflicts, on sheep and men, perhaps to amuse himself. Probably some sociopaths do it too.
