The double eclipse is a sign of a epochal event. Fortunecity explains it. So does Steven Quayle. The double eclipse refers to a solar and lunar eclipse. It's not a singular event. Nov 9 is the Lunar and Nov 24th I believe is the Solar. It just means there will be a lunar and solar eclipse during Ramadan on different days. The thing that makes this one not quite perfect is the lunar precedes the solar. I don't think it's technically supposed to happen in that order. Shiites believe the next prophet will appear during this Ramadan. Not sure if it's as important to Wahabbis but they do talk about extraordinary events occuring during that particular Ramadan.
Guess what folks, 2003 is the first double eclipse in a long long time to occur during Ramadan. If you assume Ramadan has always occurred in November then it's the FIRST time in recorded history to have occurred. All this has been known for years so it's not like they haven't had time to prepare.

re post no. 114:
That November 9th date seems to sound familiar as I tour various sites on the 'net.

A Rare double eclipse is to take place Nov 9th and again on Nov 23rd... Ummm.... I'm just making my way through this long thread, so if someone pointed this out already, my apologies. Nov. 9th = 119
Please advise... do I need more coffee, foil, or more sleep?
