Question about newsgroup postings

I have a quick question. How can you post to a newsgroup and remain anonymous? I'd like to avoid spam and even anyone getting my ISP or machine name just by me posting to a usenet newsgroup or whatever. I posted a test message and then went into the properties of the message like I was just a normal user that saw the message on the newsgroup and it showed my machine name and ISP name. I already know better than to use my real email address when posting. That would be spam suicide :) Thanks

If you are using Outlook Express, go into the Tools->Accounts.
Select the News tab, then Properties.
Enter your fake name and a fake email address.

When you post to the newsgroup, the fake name/address will be what is displayed to the other posters.

Alternate method. Set up a free or trial email account on Hotmail, Yahoo, or AOL. Use that email account. Never check that email.
