The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

If it works out we are free for that weekend, would it be OK if we come along with some food and contribute to the fund or whatever is needed?

We love anyone who shows up with food.

It just started about an hour ago. First rain. Then freezing. It's melting on the ground - but UYUCK!!!

Hmmm... well, we can all hitchhike together.

Heh...hopefully it doesn't come to that! Though it could be interesting.

I would be completely unable to drive there, and I'm having trouble coming up with the last payment as it is, so no rental car for me. I might be able to chip in some toward a rental later, but not then.

Freezing rain is evil.

Didja hear that we may be getting up to three feet of snow or some crazy amount over the course of the next week? Better that than ice, though!

Yep, I'm readin' through catchin' up. I am SO glad I'm not there!!! Even though it would be nice to visit ya. Maybe in like - AUGUST!!!

I didn't check in this morning cause I knew if I did I would never make a dent in my grading. But, Jim did come in and fix my network this morning. So, next week, I can freep from the classroom again. :-)

I know our departure on the 16th is late...we can certainly find ways to occupy ourselves if the only ride is quite a bit earlier!

Which theater are you renting? I designed a theater in Orlando about 3 years ago.

Snow is truly beautiful, though! I can complain...but I do like having it. It's just that usually we don't get this much until later. Makes me wonder what the year's gonna be like!

Yep, I picked that flight cause you'd already said when you arrived. I figured I'd make it easy on somebody picking us up and get there at the same time. Rosie got the flight as close as she could get to that time too I think.

You'd be amazed. Some parents bring their kids to the hospital and never come back to visit them. The hospital has to hunt them down practically to have them come get the child when it's discharged.

OMG!!!

That's one of the awefulest things I ever heard!!! When I was 10 and in the hospital for several days Grama moved in the room with me!!!
