Its pretty clear that is not a gesture Kennedy was trying to extend. He was simply moving around or resting his head on his hand, scratching, etc. I do it all the time

Go watch the entire Media Pool tape and see all the frowns and grimaces that Teddy K. made.

If you were to be honest with yourself about this point, you'd clearly understand that those "hand signalsd" are intentional insults.

No, I watched the entire speech. I don't like Kennedy anymore than you do. And yes I saw how displeased he was. But shaking your head in disagreement is completely different than giving someone the middle finger or insulting someone with a hand gesture, which clearly was not the same as what he was doing with his fist.

Ted Kennedy certainly knows that those hand signals are viewed by many as insulting.

If you can't see that, even after looking at the still photos, then I don;t know what to tell you.
