AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1135) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | March 1, 2004 | All of Us

Posted on 03/01/2004 4:21:37 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

America will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of our country!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

In the Criminal Party debates, Senator Kerry let loose this gem in response to a question "Is God on America's side [in the war on terror]": Well, God will -- look, I think -- I believe in God, but I don't believe, the way President Bush does, in invoking it all the time in that way. I think it is -- we pray that God is on our side, and we pray hard. And God has been on our side through most of our existence.

Senator Kerry is NOT sure whether God is on our side?

Aristide has fled Haiti, and rebel troops are positing themselves to move into the Capital. The head of the country's Supreme Court has taken over as President, as called for by Haiti's Constitution. The rebel leader has said that he acknowledges Alexandre as the head of the government.

A deal has been struck with Paksitan that would allow United States troops to operate in a part of that country where The Evil One is believed to be hiding.

The Return of the King wins 11 awards at the oscar, including Best Picture and Best Director.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

lysie, if it's any consolation (or more accurately affirmation,) I had to take legal steps with not only my nephew but his parents as well. Broke my heart, stressed me out and they certainly weren't worth all that worrying on my part. But it had to be done. We have to be able to live with ourselves and look at ourselves in the mirror. That's what counts the most.

Sometimes you gotta do what must be done. Even when, if offered a choice, you'd probably rather step on a nail.

Hubby is doing great, he is sleeping a lot but after eight days in a NOISY hospital he deserves some rest. He is able to be off oxygen long enough to eat some of his meals, that is a big improvement...His cough is much better and he is not coughing up all that gook.

I used to have that Eagle on my screensaver, only he had a tear running down his face. When we had a computer crash last year, we lost it.

Remember the graphic of the Eagle sharpening it's talons that came out after 9-11? While I was in the field last week, I met some folks that had that graphic incorporated on their unit patch that they wore on their covers. I did not get one of the caps. They were scarce and very coveted.

Thanks, Dog!!! I'm going to save it to my profile page since I don't remember how to make another screen saver out of it.

Oops - just went to save it to my homepage and found I already had an Eagle there with the words "Let's Roll." I think I'll leave that one.

I played around once and messed up the entire page. Not terribly computer literate...

They had really nice standard-issue color-embroidered unit patches. These weren't press-on patches. I was just proud to be able to feed the guys from that unit. They got the best grub that I could provide.

Boychild called tonight. He will not be starting AIT for another two weeks or so........but he is enjoying the Texas weather. His daily routine consists of PT in the morning, followed by lots of busy work and killing time.

He bought an iron today, Johnny. Seems the uniforms at AIT are expected to be neatly pressed at all times.;^)

That made me think of you.:)

I have to iron soon. I work for Uncle this weekend. ;>)

He'll get good with an iron.

I'm proud that he made it.

14 angels to you and yours.

P.S. I played piano a little bit tonight.... Onward Christian Soldiers.... 4 sharps... um... Start at E?... Scales.... Simple melodies... It came back. I did ok. I'm going to start the 30 minute scales through the majors and minors in the morning and evening again. I need that discipline, and I need to hear the music.

Good for you, Johnny. I need to hear music, too. Lots. Often.

Good night!
