I always figure that since I grew up eating food cooked by a Mexican Abuelita I get by with celebrating Cinco de Mayo with gorging myself! Course, it doesn't hurt that my best friend (Purpleq's mom) is Mexican and then also my son-in-law is 1/2 Mexican too. So, oughtta respect for them I should eat lots and lots of Mexican food especially for Cinco de Mayo!!! :-)
Oh! And I almost forgot! My new friend here - Celia is Mexican too! Gotta pay my respects to her too ya know! :-D
hah, so did I. I have been on such a strict diet thing and haven't had any mexican in a looong time. I think d and I will hafta hit the Comales tonight for dinner. BA at work here this morning told me I'm getting skiinny. lol not me. Haven't been skinny since I was 12. No wait, when I lived in Austin with those hippies I was skinny, early seventies. pre-partum. ya know.
