My grampa used to tell me that if two people always agree on everything then at least one of them stopped thinking.
The "Me too" crowd doesn't contribute nearly as much as the voices of dissent.
I didn't see or hear the debate, but your take on it is every bit as valid as any other I've read.

it's not breaking news that you or I think bush won or lost.
It is an abuse of the classification... but apparently does not matter.
But it still should be moved to the appropriate category or appended to the appropriate debate thread d'jour.
and though it was probably not intentional abuse yet it is not 'breaking' news either.
