Carolyn
I didn't SAY you got it wrong. I said that's probably what she meant.
At least read the post before responding.
Exactly!!! Well said.
It is to me, because I think most of the media are lazy AND ignorant.
Thank You.
I agree with you on your assessment. She was outraged yesterday at Kerry's comments about the VP's daughter. She was still ticked off today, even more so with the comments Edward's wife.
I heard someone who felt very strongly on a local talk radio call in show yesterday. He stated that he and his wife were both Christians and were very off-put by BUSH's remark about not knowing if someone chooses homosexuality. The caller's position was that homosexuality is a sin and everyone has a choice about whether or not to commit a sin.
He went on to remark that both he and his wife talked about it and decided they would still vote for Bush because Bush was more likely to take pro-life stands than Kerry. My impression, though, was that this was someone who was a hairs breadth away from deciding not to vote for Bush (probably by not voting at all) because BUSH didn't condemn homosexuality as strongly as they would have liked (based on their faith).
I'm not saying there is anything wrong with such beliefs, I'm just agreeing with the poster who makes the argument that some do feel strongly enough about this issue to consider it in their vote. (Whereas my vote is based more on who will fighting terror rather than appease it.)
Senator Dominci(RNM). He is one bright spot that we have. Denco
I could tell you about a 86' 60 Minutes piece on the Audi 5000 and it's 'unintended acceleration' problem if you like?
Not only do they think we're all a bunch of bigots (discription?), but they think we all have amnesia. This stunt was pulled in 2000 when the dums outted Ms. Cheney.
Saw it.
I used to turn on F&F at 6 am everyday but now I never watch. ED has changed so much. She used to be fun but now she seems like a shill for the dems (trying to be fair and balanced, no doubt) and I just decided not to bother watching! I still like Steve, Brian and Lauren though.
that's pretty much what rush said the other day as well... he meant it as though kerry was making fun of the right who live in the worst conditions and have the least education (read: goobers) i doubt that ed hill meant it as a slam on the right... she's just not very well-worded (a lot of the time)
Rep. Fitzhughs office, which is shared by the Kerry-Edwards campaign, has been distributing a flyer showing a Special Olympics child with President Bushs face superimposed on the head of the disabled youngster.
The headline reads:Voting for Bush Is Like Running In The Special Olympics: Even If You Win, Youre Still Retarded.
Traditional Values Coalition Chairman Louis P. Sheldon, today. This disgusting flyer is an insensitive attack against children with disabilities.
Sarcasm > Does this qualify as bigotry, or is there a different standard for Neo-Libs?
i think you misunderstood her... i was listening to her. that said, she hasn't been the same since her last child was born.
Yeah, the Fox & Friends crew is pretty consistent in their positions, and you pretty much know that there is a line that they won't cross. Even the most liberal of co-hosts like Kiran Chetry have been pretty good at being objective and fair during this bitter election season.
I've watched for many years as well, and I get the feeling that all of them respect one another.
I cannot believe the amount of people who really buy the lib spin that FNC is a conservative channel. It's not, no matter how much you'd like it to be. It's an excellent source of information that shows both sides of a position. What a concept!
I agree Peach. E.D. was showing the true bias of Kerry/Edwards.
E.D.HILL is representative of the pathetic state professional journalism has plunged. She is my opinion a poor speaker, has limited vocabulary, is frequently rude, seeks the pre-eminence, and if it were not for the fact that so many men want 'sexy' in their newscasters, she would never have made it past copygirl in the industry. I guess we expect so little, and consequently those expectations are rarely surpassed.
