I think you misunderstood E.D.
What I heard was that she was saying that Kerry thinks there are a lot of homophobes within the Christian right community and was hoping to supress their vote by mentioning Cheney's gay daughter.
E.D. does NOT believe this and I thought it was pretty clear.
I didn't get that from her at all.
She was explaining what the Kerry strategy was, and it seemed to me that she was speaking in Kerry's voice. She mentioned that he lost his base of minorities and lower income Americans, so his strategy was to seperate Bush's base with this comment.

Did you just see the interview with the Chad from skerry's campaign. She sat there giggling with him as he lied about the vaccine situation. she did not mean it the way you took it. She has always talked like that about Christians.
I'm sure that's what Kerrys is trying to do. I have my problems with Hill, but she's a person of faith. I can't believe she'd be casting aspersions on anyone else of faith.

She has been very outraged at Kerry two mornings in a row and thought it was a cheap shot.

I think Kerry and Edwards were making sure that EVERY last person in the USA knew that CHeney had a gay daughter, in order to swing redneck homophobes to vote Dem. The Dems know, as do we, that there are people ignorant enough to vote dem just because Cheney, a repub, has a gay daughter. There ARE people who feel that strongly.
You don't refer to people of faith as Ignorant. Those were HER words.

She DID NOT mean that SHE thinks the Christian right is ignorant.
She was saying what she thinks KERRY was trying to do and what KERRY thinks of the Christian right.
I was listening intently and you are quite wrong about this.
If you honestly believe that E.D. Hill was calling the Christian right ignorant, I suggest you keep track of the firestorm that will brew on FNC. It would be the END of her career. But most people listening got what she was saying; I suggest we don't go looking for trouble where there isn't any.
I only watch Fox & Friends First, when Mrs. Hill [whatever her name is this week] is not on.

She wasn't.
She just got done telling a story on how her son wants to change his Godfather and have President Bush his Godfather because he liked the way he talked about God.
I have my problems with her, as well, but she married a wealthy East Coast (most likely liberal), so she runs in circles that probably wouldn't like a staunch Conservative.
I don't watch the show for her contribution any way - I watch it for Brian and Steve.
