No. There is no way they would have conceded if there was even the most remote possibility of victory. C'mon, you know that.

I think you can rest easy - he's conceded already. you can't take back a concession speech. It's over praise God!

I heard that when they started counting these provisional ballots they were actually increasing Bush's margin. And even if they broke 9 out of 10 for Kerry that would still most likley not be enough to win.

There is just no way Kerry can be now president. If he somehow steals it now, he'll look like a jerk after he made his concession and the 55 Senate and 230 House would not get any of his agenda done, not to mention he'd have no claim to a mandate due to losing the popular vote by 3.

No, Darlin'. They cannot pull this stunt. Once Kerry gave his concession speech, to the public, it's done. Besides, the provisional ballots are extrememly suspect from a certain Party's maneuvers, and were not enough in vote-count, to even crest what Bush already had.

Don't worry. Blackwell will take care of them. He, like Katherine Harris, is a very straight & honest individual. He also knows what the Dems are capable of, though. He'll look after this in Ohio.

Within 2-4 years, I predict he will run for a GOP House safe seat (or become the Governor of OH). He's an up-and-comer for the GOP.

Yes

If Teresa Heinz Kerry takes couple of hostages in front of White House and demands she be made First Lady.

For psychiatric reasons, Pubs would have to pretend to lose, showing her provisional ballots marked for Kerry, so that she can hand over the gun or the local Animal-Precincts fire couple of Rhino-tranquilizers in her butt, whichever comes first.

Do you think if there were any way at all Kerry could have won, his lawyers wouldn't have found them? Relax and enjoy our victory!

Game over... Kerry conceded...

The fact is, the numbers didn't add up, and they didn't add up in a big way... Also, Bush's margin in Ohio was LARGER than Kerry's margin in Pennsylvania... Thus, challenging one would invite a challenge to the other...

This wasn't Florida 2000... The margins were too big...

As Hugh Hewitt says, IF IT AINT CLOSE, THEY CANT CHEAT.

When the number of provisional ballots is less then the number of votes the president got above JF Kerry's votes...

Its pretty much in the bag

Virtually guaranteed that 60-75% of the provisionals are no good.

If the ones in Ohio are like the ones we had in NM 90% of them will be thrown out. They were bogus voters, lazy voters, people who just showed up on election day to voice their opinion without doing what all of us had done the day we turned 18.
