Good morning!
Cold here. It snowed yesterday, and we still have random flurries shimmering in the sunlight. I may be taking my sisters for them to do their last minute shopping and to pay a duty-call to our grandmother. Dad has taken the 4WD so I will be borrowing my mother's cute yellow shiny Beetle with the daisy wheels. Ugh. At since it's a stick only I can drive it and I won't have to fight with the girls over the front seat.
It's still very nice to be home. I'm not on Eastern yet. The little guy had a two hour snow delay and I still didn't see him out the door. Tonight we're going to the local Christmas-light-display place and watching "White Christmas". It will, knowing this family, be a sing along.
I'm doing alllllll kinda upgrades today. Boring.
And I left my very-precious-notebook-with-my-new-story-outline-init out at the house. If the bothers read it, they're dead meat.
I also forgot to bring ANY fountain pens today. I feel really lost without 'em.
Mornin!! 9 degrees here. Brrrr! We have at least 4 inches on the ground and it's just now beginning to slow down. I can see that the sun is shining behind the clouds, so they've thinned considerably in the last hour or so. The snow wasn't this heavy earlier this morning; there was only about 1/2" on the ground when I went to bed at 3. SSQ left for work about 8, and there wasn't much then, either. I have no idea if the other kids went to school. Joseph got out last Friday for vacation, so I didn't have to get up early to take him.
...as the shoppers rush home with their treasures...
