Doc always assumed he would be killed in a gunfight. When the drop was on him, he was signaling that he wasn't scared to die.("You're a daisy if you do") His last words were along the lines of "Isn't this funny?" because he died with his boots off in a bed.

Oddly, Wyatt lived in LA until his death, forever dodging rumors that his character was greatly embellished.

Do you realize that I work at home?....Well I work all the time, so never, never interrupt me..O.K. Not if there is a fire. Not even if you hear the sound of thud from myapartment and one week later there is a stench coming from my home that is so thick that you have to hold a hankie to face because you think you're gonna faint. Even then, don't knock. Or, if you're excited and you want to celebrate because some fudgepacker that you date got elected the first queer president of the United States, and he's going to have you down to Camp David,..And you want someone to celebrate the moment with.....Even then, don't knock. Not on this door...Not for any reason......Do you get me sweetheart? Melvin Udall in As Good As It Gets

Based on reading pretty much the entire thread, I think "I'm you're huckleberry" comes in at #1 in FR land...

hehe, I really do plan to read the entire thread because I'm sure there are many more that I love. Problem is I haven't my own computer, and I'm at work, trying to look as if I am doing what I'm supposed to be doing.

perhaps if I stay late...

...I wonder what the #1 in DUmmy land is?

My guess is it might be a slightly edited quote from GalaxyQuest:

"Give up. Surrender."

LOL! I've probably seen that movie once a year since 1986. Sad, ain't it? (But that doesn't mean I won't do it again!)

"No wire hangers" LOL! From the worst movie ever you get your favorite quote? I love that!

Well let me tell you, I don't even know which movie my favorite quote came from, but I was just a little girl when I heard it, and I've been using it ever since when angered:

"I can smile, and while I smile....cut your heart out with a bloody axe".

The name's Francis Sawyer, but everybody calls me Psycho. Any of you guys call me Francis, and I'll kill you.
Leon: Ooooooh.
Psycho: You just made the list, buddy. Also, I don't like no one touching my stuff. So just keep your meathooks off. If I catch any of you guys in my stuff, I'll kill you. And I don't like nobody touching me. Any of you homos touch me, and I'll kill you.
Sergeant Hulka: Lighten up, Francis.

Despite what's been said about Huckleberry being akin to Pall Bearer, I believe it just means, "I'm the guy you're looking for." I'm Your Huckleberry
