the bad thing about this LOTR fandom is that it seems to bring out the real perverted in people...which is what I understand Tolkien had a problem with in the 60s. I remember one report that spoke of a young man who sincerely believed himself to be Frodo and kept calling Tolkien up to talk to him. Poor gentleman. All he wanted to do was tell a story...and people go off the deep end.
Then there's the Cassandra Claire idiocy. Whoever wrote that needs to get their priorities straight.
