"...our interests in Iraq be damned."

Lost me right there.

Look, you seem very nice and well-intentioned. I appreciate that......but nothing matters more to me than the interests of my country; nothing. Period. End of discussion. Your sentiments, again, are meant to suggest "civility", and I understand this.

However.............grow up. We're in a war on two fronts: terrorism around the globe, rampant liberalism at home. Get the stomach for the fight, son.

I don't fight fair. I'm tired of seeing libs dominate our culture with the assistance of a fawning media. I'm sick to death of their lies, cheating, and lack of anything resembling a moral center. I'm sick of their condescension, their dipping into my checkbook, their utter bullshit.

I was brought up military.......and I fight to win. I don't take prisoners, and I don't coddle the enemy. I despise my opponents. I hate liberalism and its proponents. I truly, utterly despise them.

You're a nice guy........but deal with it. BTW, I've been here for six years.

Response: here

I support the war fully and would never say or do or even think of doing anything to harm our soldiers or our efforts over there.

However, that Yushchenko will pull Ukraine's *massive* 1600-troop force out of Iraq does not seem to me to be a viable reason to support his sleazy, corrupt, even evil opponent.

and here

I'm sorry if that bit seemed harsh (in retrospect, it probably was), but as I noted a little back, I fully support our efforts and soldiers in Iraq, but do not see Yushchenko's promised withdrawal of Ukrainian support as a viable reason to support Yanukovich.

I apologize if my comment was unnecessarily harsh (which it was) and if I ruffled any feathers (which I did). I would never want any harm to come to our interests in Iraq - it was entirely about context - Yushchenko pulling out Ukraine's small force would have no effect either way, and thus did not seem to me to be a sufficient excuse for supporting his lying, cheating opponent. I meant it in no other regard, and again I apologize if it was taken that way.
