NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. -- A man has been charged with torturing a Rottweiler by sodomizing the dog in what authorities are calling a case of "horrific abuse."
The New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals charged Jose Rodriguez on Monday in the alleged sodomy of the female Rottweiler, which is owned by a neighbor.
The abuse took place Dec. 19, SPCA officials said. The 5-year-old dog, named Precious, was examined by a veterinarian before the charges were filed.
A nurse at Banfield Animal Hospital in Woodbridge on Thursday said the dog was brought there two days after the alleged incident and treated and released that day.
Rodriguez, 39, faces six counts of animal cruelty, including the abuse and torture and torment of a living animal, which carry a jail sentence up to six months and up to $6,000 in fines. A court date has been scheduled for Jan. 13.
Rodriguez has an unpublished phone number and efforts to reach him Thursday were unsuccessful.
"This is obviously an uncomfortable case for any law enforcement agency or any rational human being to deal with," said New Jersey SPCA President Stuart Rhodes. "It is my hope that this animal will never be subjected to this horrific abuse ever again."
Bet when asked how he was doing he said,
"Not too baaaaad."
Uh...I have no comment...
What's crazier....doing that to a dog, or choosing a Rottweiler as the dog in question?
If he went to San Francisco or Massachusetts first, he could have married her...
Justice = giving the dog a turn with the perp
How does a New Jersey farmer find his sheep in the tall grass?
VERY SATISFYING!
Mucho mas Hispanics, por favor, Senor Bush!
How'd they find out? If the neighbors walked-in while this was going on, BOY would that be uncomfortable for everyone in the room (dog included).
Where is PETA when we need them?
Oh yea, how's that go ... When dog humps man, not at story, but when man humps dog...
Or force the perp to take on a wolverine. [ouch]

Police accuse Florien man of having sex with chicken
FLORIEN - A Sabine Parish man is accused of fowl play, authorities said.
Timothy Garner, 35, of the Florien area is suspected of having sex with a chicken.
Garner was arrested Thursday after being caught in the chicken house, Florien police Chief Herman R. Love said.
Earlier this week, a West Monroe man was accused of having sex with a pig. Ouachita Parish Sheriff's deputies arrested Austin Gullette, 45, after his sister said she caught him with one of her three pigs.
On Thursday, the chickens' owner heard the animals making a commotion and saw headlights outside.
A neighbor also heard the commotion and found Garner inside the chicken house, Love said.
Garner told the neighbor he was watching the chickens and quickly left. The neighbor wrote down the license plate number, police said.
The chickens' owner found seven of the chickens with injuries.
After being brought in for questioning at the Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office, Love said Garner admitted to having sex with the animals.
He also told investigators that it was not his first time in the chicken yard, police said.
Garner was arrested on charges of trespassing and crimes against nature.
How do they know the dog did not consent? Isn't this just a case of government trying to regulate what goes on in the bedroom between consenting adults?
Doesn't the Supreme Court's recent sodomy case bar this prosecution?
Peta probably wouldn't mind as long as the guy didn't eat the dog.
just another homosexual adventure in ......
Sorry to disappoint you. I guess dogs can't squeal like a pig! (shutter)
Judge to Defandant :Let me get this straight, you had sex with your female Rottweiler ?
Defendant: Well, What do you think I am, Gay? .....not that there's anything wrong with that...
Just damn.
If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...
kick the dog has a whole new meaning......
