(Vanity) If it's between McCain or Giuliani, who will you choose?

Posted on 01/27/2005 7:27:58 PM PST by Patriot814

I know the 2008 election is a while away and anything could happen, but if things were the same as the polls right now and it was between McCain and Giuliani, who would you choose? I would choose Giuliani because they're both modereate, but Giuliani's more loyal. McCain would appease the democrats and would be painted as crazy.

Neither. Sensenbrenner and Tancredo. (I just hope they decide to run)

I'm very glad I'll never have to make that choice.

Neither.

McCain is an opprotunist and also a crook(Keating 5). That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Rudy I respect more and I think would be great as an administrator or "executive director". However, I do not want a gun grabber, pro-abort, and someone who is probably no 4th amendment friend, (and I don't know his tax stance) making judicial decisions on court nominations.

I MAY change my mind on Rudy depending on the opponent. With McCain, there's no chance in hell I'm voting for him.

McNut? I don't think so.

RUDY I could.

If those were the only two choices.

If you think I'm voting for Rudy, guess again, I'm going third party. The GOP would be moronic to run a RINO after this election. If they want to kick sand in our faces they will pay at the ballot box.

I have doubts Rudy would win the primary.

I will NEVER vote for McCain. He's an opportunist. I'd vote for Hill before I'd allow McCain to destroy the Party.

If Rudy made it past the primary, I'd vote for him. He'd be tough on terrorists and he's loyal. He isn't my first choice at this juncture though.

Neither. I could never EVER vote for McCain for anything. I know he's crazy and I believe he is a crook. I could not vote for Rudy because although he's sane (which gives him an edge on McCain), I have some hot button issues (abortion, gun control, gay marriage, etc.) and Rudy and I are opposed on all of them, plus I'm not real comfortable with Guliani's honesty either, especially after all the Kerik stuff that came out. That leaves stay at home or vote 3rd party.

Neither of them would get my vote...McLame is siding with the kooks on the Left too much.

As far as Guiliani, the 2nd Amendment matters!

The rest of the pet issues are irrelevant unless you can defend yourself from the criminals.

well that is the funny thing......most people are actually more moderate with hot button issues.....now hear me out for a minute.......look at the speakers Bush had at his convention to bolster support...McCain, Rudy, Arnold were headline speakers.......i'm not saying YOU should like him but these guys helped rally many Repubs that are not extreme right.....it also depends on the state of the union. If we are still fighting a war, I rather have a great war pres than suffer on other things......
