Single issue diehards are myopic individuals that fixate on one issue and are misguided enough to think that a singular political issue is what's at stake in this country.

They tend explode a singular issue into a huge issue via absurd extrapolations.

For example silly people that think that Kid Rocks presence at an inaugural event is a major priority in the GOP platform and should be stopped immediately because he doesn't pass the moral litmus test of certain overzealous individuals...

Or those whom think that Sponge Bob Square pants is a larger crisis than the Iraq war and Social Security reform and believe that he is the ambassador of gay doom in America...
