Check your credit/debit card statements for either a $29.99 or $39.99 charge to PLUTO DATA LTD made over the past couple weeks.
I found the fraudulent charge on my Debit Card statement and then found the thread where many others have found the same problem!
No better place than Freerepublic.com to get the word out!
ping - this looks fairly serious in scope. There are a lot of angry people on that thread.

You have a huge ping list. This may well be worth pinging them. The link is to a blog site with a LOT of angry people.
Looks like a lot of fraudulent credit/debit card charges in late February this year.
Folks really ought to check their statements carefully, if they don't already.

Yep they hit me as well, just got off the phone with my Credit card Co. My charge $29.99 was on 2-13 and posted 2-15-05, Credit Card Co was awesome, suggested I cancel card, removed charge, reported Fraud!
I received my Target Visa statement today, 3-10-05, and the Pluto Data Ltd. was on it. Called Target Visa and they are crediting $39.99 and replacing cards. I wonder what this is all about and what happened?
Caught this one today when I checked my bank account online. This one wasn't related to a debit / credit card. Went straight against the checking account.
Fraudulent charge of $39.99 was posted to my Debit card on
03/08/2005. I called Standard Federal Bank and they gave me a phone number associated with Pluto Data Ltd.
1-888-323-8955. That phone number is useless.
