The Pope deserves the most news by far.

Personally, I can't get into allot of coverage about a body, any body, esp one who was part of the Christian faith when it says "absent from the body is present with the Lord". It's isn't like he is coming back in 3 days, is it? IMO, it's over, bury him and get on with their lives.

This is a ritual that is almost two thousand years old. It is important historically, and very important to people of the Roman Cathoic faith.

It is best if you aren't interested that you find something else to do for the next few days.

The wonderful thing about the US is our ability to decide what we will watch and what we will not.

While the 24 hour cable channels are dedicating the majority of their time to the Pope's funeral, there are hundreds of alternative sources for news coverage. Take advantage of them.

It isn't like a group of militant Priests have taken over your home, armed with AR-15's and Holy Water, forcing you to watch the funeral coverage.
