Undermining the soul of Christianity? They're just fantasy/fiction, for Pete's sake.

There are many who will argue that any fantasy-fiction that does not have an underlying Christian message is undermining the soul of Christianity. Especially those dealing with magic, demons, etc.

I understand. And the Pope is certainly entitled to his opinions. But by that line of reasoning, he should be condemning everything from Mother Goose and Grimm's Fairy Tales to Gulliver's Travels, Alice in Wonderland and all of the other classics that so many of us read as children.

And there are many - pretty much the same group - who are weak in their faith and project that onto the rest of us.
