had he pulled the stunt the day before, there would likely have been bloodshed. yesterday i was calmer and all i could do was look at him incredulously and just laugh that he would have the b@!!s to have done it. he literally has never done anything like it in his life. after the food was ready to go, and the STORM had started (we intended to eat outside, of course)the POWER WENT OFF FOR A MINUTE... but then came back on. it was pretty funny, all told.

Just so we're clear on this issue, I would remind you that females are also not above such acts of buffoonery.
Mrs. Grim has been known to spring last-minute dinner engagements on me while I'm up to my neck in sweat and sawdust in the garage...to which I (as calmly as possible) usually just request that my dinner be brought home in a box.
