I miss a few days of FreeRepublic and the senate goes to hell in a hand basket.

I was going to use the WFTD, but then I changed my mind. I am using yesterdays word instead.

A curmudgeon, irascible
Can still be respected.
But an alcoholic derigible?
Can't even get arrested!

LOL. Johnny would probably go along with it too as long as he's told how great he is.

Deads folks all over the joint.

Now that they "solved" it, here's my solution to the filibuster stuff: pass a rule against the filibuster. Then pass your judges. Then pass a rule re-establishing filibusters.

Then everybody's happy except some dems and who gives a crap aboot those guys?

It'll be nice to see some revenge for this. I'm hoping that Tom Brinkman kicks the crap out of Mike DeWine's kid in a congressional run next month.

Gummint criminals trying not to be as criminal as usual.

I love this line:

"I tried to make it illegal to drink Budweiser," while keeping locally brewed Miller products free of fines, Murphy joked.

Good day, xsmommy:

Though I do feel irresolute.
I honestly have no desire to beat or shoot.
The traitors who yesterday gave the Libs a win.

It seems to be SOP for the GOP.
To cave when victory is solidly in their grasp.
They've done it for so long they don't think it a grievous sin.

Though it is cathartic to bash.
The majority party riven with asps.
I wonder how well they'll fare without my cash?
