Horses (and probably ponies too) are one of the best proofs going for creation and against evolution. There is no way an animal that stupid, mean, fragile, and hungry could possibly have evolved. Particularly given how useful they are to people.
I grew up around horses all my life. It's not fun. It's not even terribly rewarding. All of the horse people I know - excepting the western riders - have been high strung and a little neurotic. I suspect that's because of the annoyance of having to tie their lives down to a hayburning beast that, no matter how sweet and cute it looks at you with those gorgeous golden-brown eyes, is really just waiting for the moment you let your guard down so that it can bite off a couple fingers or land a good kick somewhere special like your skull or betwixt your legs.
