President Bush "Nose to Nose.."

Posted on 08/10/2005 5:36:48 PM PDT by Taylorsdad

This is my first post, so go easy on me.

I just heard on the Bill O'reilly show that some mother of a fallen soldier in Iraq claimed that President Bush got nose to nose with her and stated that who he was and that he understood that she had a problem with him. What a nutjob she was.

Shouldn't Bill put on a person who lost a loved one in Iraq who agrees with what we are doing over there?

Less than no one cares what these people think.

Most who have lost family have too much respect to act this disturbing.

The same thing happened with 9-11 family members.

They were used by the left and dropped when the left lost, again.

These ladies will be used to raise money for the DNC and dropped when they lose in 2006.

He took the time to speak with her personally, and she was offered the opportunity to disagree with his military policy.

In what other country on the face of this earth would she have been allowed such consideration?

And she got a hug, too!

I wonder how her fallen hero son would feel about his mother speaking out this way. This is no way to honor his memory.

Bill is playing the 'independent' line.

He's a 'traditionalist'.

Expect him to post an email from a kook to make him seem reasonable tomorrow.

It is August of 2005.

Does anyone remember the status of politics in August 2003?

No.

These stories blend right in to the fool's gold of fake polls that the left try to cash in every election they lose.

I served in the Navy in the early 90's and if something happened to me and my mother would of acted like that anywhere much less on national T.V. I would of rolled over in my grave.

She's Cindy Sheehan -- there are a number of threads ongoing about her. Do a search.

She was a different woman call Dolores Kesterson.

She made it a point to say that she resented her ex' new wife being seen by the President along with her ex. This woman is bitter about her ex as much as bitter about losing her son. Truly a screwed up woman. Her insistence on agreeing with Michael Moore just cinched my opinion that she is a grieving mother as well as a nutjob.

It was not Cindy Sheehan--it was another woman.

The hero son may have joined up to get away from her. She might be the 'Betty Broderick' type.

My son & I were watching that interview...we thought she was lying about Pres. Bush putting his nose to her nose and announcing he was the President of the United States. Why would he say that to an American citizen who knew who he was, where she was at and why she was there. It made no sense at all and sounded like a lie.

I also agree with post #30 - she sounded totally bitter about her ex-husband. I think she's a woman who's bitter in general. Bet she's fun to be around.

She met with President Bush at Fort Lewis.

That is why O'reilly, Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Fox News,
and even CNN have reported that she met with him and they are pointing to an article (that has been posted several times here on FR now) in which she told the reporter about the meeting.

And she had nothing but high praises for Bush then.

I know. I just meant that she hadn't met with him at the ranch. Just with the two staffers.

oh, got ya.

I don't think Bush should meet with her.

Not after she slandered the mission of US Troops.

I have family over there. Fighting to give Iraqis a better life. Which is already happening.

For Sheehan belittle the cause that my family members are fighting for is too far over the top.
Its disgusting.

He's not going to meet with her. He already sent out two staffers, both of which were in my satirical article. She wasn't satisfied with them. So she sits there looking stupid and staging a partisan political protest.

She met with President Bush right after her son was killed. At the time she was all praise for how compassionate he was. Now of course, her recollection of the meeting is better than it was a year ago......and if you believe that I have some oceanside property in Yuma AZ to sell you.
