AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1676) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | August 23, 2005 | All of Us

Posted on 08/23/2005 4:20:28 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

A scientist that was on a Presidential panel looking into global warming quit because he said too many of the members preparing the report were wedded to the notion of human-induced climate change without looking into the science of the matter.

The "You Don't Speak for Me Cindy" caravan continues through California. Ultimately, it will head to Crawford, TX.

Though the Pentagon says there is no evidence Atta was named as the 9/11 attack leader before the attack, a second officer has come forward to challenge that assertion.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Good morning.

Somehow I believe two military officers about Able Danger, especially considering that the National Geographic special on 9/11 had information about Able Danger.

GOOD A.M. CHAIR, ALL, FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!

Rain, Rain, go away and don't come back another day, soon. We got to have some relief. Hurricane season ain't over yet which means more rain if one comes this way. If this keeps up I am going to be able to bail hay in my front yard.

The left has lost it, nothing else, they just have lost it.

The US ought to drop one of those new bombs, the SayDamn bomb cause when it goes off you say 'damn' one at a time on those killers and neighborhoods in Iraq. Wipe out the whole area and see some minds change in a hurry, course it would not be PC to do this ya know.

I am in the market for some goats, found some big ones but I want some small breed type goats. Strike the word 'I', it is DAUGHTER who wants the goats. SIL and I will start putting the wire around the trampoline, our goat pen, which I can move from place to place with my NEW tractor (bragging of course). The hen house is about finished and will post pictures of it shortly, I just got to find me a sigh with 'Oval Office' so I can put on it. I now have president Bill Rooster, Hill-O-Ree hen (co president), Monica, the attendant 'chick', Janet (you know who), 'Sandy', always grabbing food stuff and running off with it, as in Burger and I stay up at night thinking of names for those chickens. If you have any suggestions let me know.

D just came down, coffee finished so, I am off to indulge. Talk to you later, Toby

LOL, I can just see all those hens and one Ol' Bill out there, strutting his stuff.

If you have a hen that is running all around, squawking here and there, being a real nuisance, you might consider naming her Sheila Jackson Lee.

Interesting....

Televangelist Pat Robertson calls for the assassination of Venezuela's President Chavez.

"It’s a whole lot cheaper than starting a war ... and I don’t think any oil shipments will stop.” he said.

Good Morning Chair. Thank you for getting us started again today.

The heat wave has broken and taken the humidity with it. It feels like fall out there this morning.

Sun's up now, but rain is forecast for today and tomorrow. I mowed yesterday...thank goodness, so when it does rain I'll be using the FloorMate on my floors....daughter, grandson, and friend are coming Thursday for daughter's birthday supper. Can you believe that they REQUESTED that I have meatloaf and creamed potatoes?! I'm adding broccoli w/cheese sauce, corn, deviled eggs, and hot rolls to that menu! No cake but maybe a lemonade pie w/1 candle (to grow on...LOL).

A passage from the Iraqi constitution.....it isn't bad....

The republic of Iraq is an independent sovereign state with a system of government that is republican, parliamentary, democratic and federal.

Islam is the official religion of the state, and it is a main source for legislation. No law can be passed that contradicts the fixed principles of Islam's rulings. No law can be passed that contradicts the principles of democracy. No law can be passed that contradicts basic rights and freedoms mentioned in this constitution.

This constitution guarantees the Islamic identity of the majority of the Iraqi people, as well as complete religious rights for all individuals to freedom of beliefs and religious practice.

Iraq is a multi-ethnic and multi-religious country and it is part of the Islamic world, and the Arab people in it are part of the Arab nation.

The Arabic language and Kurdish language are the two official languages of Iraq, and the right of Iraqis to educate their children in mother tongues such as Turkmen and Syriac in government teaching establishments ... or any other language in private institutions is guaranteed.

Federal institutions and bodies in the Kurdistan region will use the two languages.

The law has sovereignty, the people are the source of authorities and their legitimacy, and they practise this via direct secret ballot and their constitutional institutions.

Rotation of power is practiced peacefully via the democratic institutions outlined in this constitution.

All bodies or practices are forbidden which use racism, terrorism, denouncing people as non-Muslim, sectarian cleansing or which incite, prepare, praise, promote or justify them, in particular the Saddamist Baath party in Iraq under any name, which cannot be part of political pluralism in Iraq, and this will be organised by law.

The state will combat terrorism in all its forms and act to protect its borders from being used for terrorist activity.

Iraqi armed forces and security forces will be made up of all components of the Iraqi people without discrimation or marginalisation...

Military militias cannot be formed outside the framework of the armed forces.

The Iraqi government respects and implements Iraq's international commitments preventing the spread, development, production and use of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons...

It is not allowed to detain or hold someone for questioning without a court order. All forms of physical or bodily torture or inhuman treatment are banned...

Parliament will sit for four years ... elections for a new parliament will be held 45 days before the end of the current session.

Oil and gas are the property of all the Iraqi people in all regions and provinces.

The federal government manages oil and gas from current fields with the governments of the producing regions and provinces, and the resources should be distributed in a fair manner appropriate to the population balance around the entire country, with specific temporary allocations for regions damaged and unfairly neglected under the previous regime...

Federal government and governments of producing regions and provinces will together draw the necessary strategic policies to develop oil and gas wealth for the good of the Iraqi people...

A legislative Federal Assembly comprising representatives of regions and provinces for viewing draft laws concerned with regions and provinces. Law will organise its formation.

This morning, Toby asked for names for his hens and someone said SHEILA JACKSON LEE.

Don't do it Toby!!! That woman is a NUT case! You don't need a crazy hen!

I just saw her on TV - she went to the ditch where Cindy is/was living and made ridiculous remarks.

I am beginning to believe that LIBERALISM should be classified as a medical condition, along with the other mental disorders already on record.

An Ergon boat pushes barges up the Mississippi River Friday as the river's level falls below sandbars near the mouth of the Yazoo Diversion Canal. The river stage at Vicksburg was 1.9 feet, 41.3 feet below flood stage. The river has dropped steadily throughout the summer and was expected to continue at low stages until rain in the basin begins in the fall. Over the past several weeks, the lower water levels have affected some river traffic going into the canal, and the vessels of the Delta Queen Steamboat Company, which normally dock at City Front, have been forced tie up at LeTourneau Landing. In addition, fishermen and boaters who routinely use all of City Front for launching their craft, have had only only a ramp that extends into the mud. (Brian Loden • The Vicksburg Post)
