I have no idea what the whole thing against safe-sex education is all about. I mean, it's the only real effective means to preventing unwanted/underage pregnancies, as we all know that abstinence-only education doesn't work, what with everybody having sex drives and all that....Does ANYBODY think about things before they do them?

The article doesn't indicate what the issues are. You seem to presume it's birth control. To my knowlege contraception is not incompatible with Jewish beliefs. Issues like promotion of homosexuality or gay marriage would be.

BTW Thinking about things before they do them is a great suggestion for sex ed.

from first-hand experience:
They are supplied with life-size penises, made to practice putting on a condom, taught clearly about homosexuality and that it should be seen as valid as heterosexuality.
Voila where your education dollars are going.
Many New York schools have to deal with dancing around this imposed nonsence.
