We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Human error at a receiving station in southern California plunged the Los Angeles and surrounding region into darkness yesterday. Power was restored to all areas by evening.
In his 10-minute statement during the Senate Judiciary Committee, Chucky Schumer made 49 first-person references, or roughly one every 12 seconds.
The DemoncRATS have been using KATRINA victims in the hearings to attack Judge Roberts.
And some hotels have opened for business in New Orleans.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LET'S ROLL!!!
Good morning, everyone!
Hi!
Two things I want to bring to folks' notice today. GC6 is having a regular checkup this morning.
JT is having his final PT test today. He really desires prayer that he will do his best on his pushups. Last night he said he wasn't quite ready for it and was concerned that his score wouldn't reflect his true ability.
I find it hilarious that Charles Schumer, who has a law degree but who has never practiced or seen inside of a courtroom, is going to question Judge Roberts about HIS (Roberts') qualifications.
Good morning.
Praying for JT !
Good Morning Chair. Thanks (again) for getting us started each day.
Trails of prayers will be following both GC6 and JT today. Count on it.
prayers lifted for JT
Sending good thoughts for your check up today.
Good Tuesday morning to everyone. I hope you have a great day & a safe one, too.
Good morning.
How's the weather up your way?
LOL. He also told Roberts that being chief justice is "awsome" - "Not awesome in the way my teenage daughter would say it, but awesome in the Biblical sense ... like angels trembling before the presence of God."
Ugh. Barf. What an over-inflated view of the federal government Chuckie has!
We had some scattered showers yesterday. At the office in Caldwell we got some brief showers, while on my way home in C.S., it rained too. That was yesterday.
This morning it is a bit more humid than has been last week. We had some nice cool mornings up here compared to yesterday & today.
How 'bout you guys? Didja get any of that rain? I saw on the radar there were showers down around Houston.
Houston has been getting some rain, a fair amount - Richmond and Rosenberg are getting rain, but at my house... NONE. We get the thunder and clouds, but not even a sprinkle.
I pointed out that there were over a hundred school buses 1.2 miles from the Super Dome that were never used and ended up being flooded. They were the Mayor's assets and he refused to use them because he wanted Greyhounds provided by the Federal Government. She said she hadn't heard about that either.
She then pointed out that Bush flew over NO and saw people on roofs and he didn't do anything about it. She said, "John, if you were the President and saw that, wouldn't you do something?" I said, "Yeah, Right! I should call the third Guardsman on the left and order him to take the first boat he could find and take a specific route to that roof?" She said, "Well, yes!" I told her, "Helen, for God's sake, get real! It isn't the President's job to micro manage. He had commanders on the scene doing that work!" She responded, "You just don't understand or care!" I told her that she was entitled to her opinion and I was entitled to mine. She responded, "Well, I guess so, but it is all Bush's Fault!"
What a fruitcake in high heels! She only listens to NPR and CNN.
