"Don't make the first or the third out at third." Basic stuff...

A great preformance by Washburn. He leaves his team in a bit of a jam, but considering his condition, he did better than anyone could have expected.

The Sox better strike while the iron is hot....

This is a classic. A break will win or lose the game.

What a BULLSH!T call by that ump.

If the ChiSox win tonight on that, it will be a total robbery.

ChiSox, you guys won on a BULLSH!T call. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

As sickening as any of the calls the umps screwed up against us in the ALCS, that were, thankfully, overturned-- the missed homer call from Bellhorn, the slapped ball from A-Rod, etc.

another "Dinkenger" moment to mar the game of baseball. Sad. Too bad the Ump can't se suspended for screwing up.

On the reverse tape (played backward), I saw a deflection that could only have been caused by the dirt.

I was not convinced until I saw that tape. But I believe what I saw when they rolled the tape backwards.

Wow, both games end with horrible homer calls by the home plate (ch)ump in the 9th. At least with the Astros it didn't cost them the game(their own pitching did), but possibly a tie.

I don't like the call, BUT I'LL TAKE IT!

(Just between you, me and the monitor, it was a horrible call by the ump! Angels got robbed tonight!)

No way to say that curruption was involved but definitely incompetence. Ultimately, it was the catcher's fault for not following through with a throw to first but watch a screw up by the ump. This man should be ashamed of himself.

It was from his glove hitting the ground.

ChiSox are cheating losers. Eff 'em.

Lousy call. The ump called strike three and then signaled out.

strikeouts to end the inning are usually just rolled to the mound.

I can't believe that Scioscia isn't just yelling expletives at his postgame media appearance.
