O positive or negative? Does it matter? How high does the blood pressure have to be to disqualify someone? What state are they in? What would have to be done to get this started? Do tattoos matter?

732 is a Central Jersey area code. Type O is just one of several factors that must be matched. I have type O but unfortunately high blood pressure. This hits home. My prayers for Sharon. Why is dialysis not an answer?

It depends upon how well controlled the blood pressure is, how long it has been present, and whether it has already begun to damage the kidneys. Some transplant centers would thoroughly evaluate the kidney function of a prospective donor, including a kidney biopsy, to make sure they are not transplanting a defective organ.

I don't know (I'm not a medical person).

Steven's email is sskatz23 at yahoo.com and their number is (732)493-3589. They will know.

Thank you for asking.
