As an AFOL, I wouldn't let my children put my precious Lego Bricks up their noses.

When my son was 3, he fell while running with plastic sunglasses, and got a cut. We went to the hospital (insurance) and the decided to glue the cut shut -- it was new for them.

As they glued, the doctor didn't hold his hand on her side, and he swiped the glue and rubbed his eye, gluing his eyelid shut. Three-year-olds don't understand why they suddenly can't see out of one eye.

They had to put him under to unglue him. 3 specialists, and an hour later, they had dissolved the glue, but we were picking glue out of his eyebrows for the next month.

I noticed the attendants were bashful in restraining my child after sugery when he tried pulling out his IV. I wonder if some parents have made the nurses reluctant to using physical restraint on children due to lawsuits or something.

Of course I jumped right in to make sure he didn't rip it out. It still bleed more that is should have because they delayed in refraiming him from self injury.
