BTW, look at Ozzie in post 380, signaling for "the fat guy."

St. Louis and Missouri are well represented on the Sox. Pitchers Mark Buehrle, Neal Cotts, and Cliff Politte are from the St. Louis area, and third baseman Joe Crede is from the Jefferson City area.

AFAIK, Nancy Faust still plays organ for the Sox. Don't know if she played tonight, but I don't know why she wouldn't have.

hmm, could have sworn I heard she had passed away. I know Eddie Layton, organist for the Yankees, died last Dec. I am seeing some stuff online about her dated this year so maybe she didn't...thought I heard it on a network radio newscast (it was CBS, oh, that explains it). Well, rock on, Nancy!

oh OK, I think I know how to ping--I can start the thread then post a reply to "myself" and include those who want to be pinged! Didn't see any instructions on how to ping but I guess that's how it's done.

It seems like everyone missed that one but I thought it was great - we were in TGI Friday's on 95th Street commenting on what a A-hole Fidel is to the consternation of our fellow Chicagoans.
