I agree. I've always despised him and his movies. Self-indulgent, whining, pretentious, pseudo-intellectual crap.

I agree that she's messed up, but she didn't steal him, he forced her. Who knows how long before it was made public that he was forcing himself on his adopted daughter. I figure this attitude that he is in complete control of the "relationship" with dismissal of any argument she has probably started long before she was ever an adult.
